and number of Layers depending on the depth of cavity and base colour, for example:-

◽️ 𝐈𝐟 𝐋𝐚𝐫𝐠𝐞 𝐜𝐚𝐯𝐢𝐭𝐲 , 𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐝 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐝𝐢𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐥𝐚𝐲𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐜𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐫𝐬 𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐥𝐮𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐧 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 .

◽️ 𝐈𝐟 𝐬𝐦𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐜𝐚𝐯𝐢𝐭𝐲 , 𝐮𝐬𝐞 𝐨𝐧𝐥𝐲 𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐃𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧 𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐝𝐞.

 and to achieve that, we have 2 methods ;

 Method number ☝️:-

 have Table of Multiple Optains and Memories, Such as this Table,

Second Method✌️ -:️

Using Mathematic Equation, which is

D𝒙 = 𝑫1 , 𝑫2(𝒙+1) , 𝑫3(𝒙+2)

Dx: The final Dentin shade will be obtained after curing

D1: Dentin composite in the superficial layer.

D2: Dentin composite in the middle layer

D3: Dentin composite in the deepest layer

Let's have an example to make it easier to understand

IF

The final base Dentin shade will obtain is A1

D1 = A1

D2 = A2

D3 = A3

but there's one Except when our Final base Dentin shade is a fractional number like 1.5, 2.5, 3.5

so the Using Mathematics Equation, which is

D 𝒙.5 = 𝑫1 , 𝑫2(𝒙+1) , 𝑫3(𝒙+3) .

Let's have an example to make it easier to understand

 IF

The final base Dentin shade will obtain is A1.5

D1 = A1

D2 = A2

D3 = A4

The main question in your mind Now that, why all of this difference between Equation and Complication

𝟏)  𝐓𝐨 𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐞𝐯𝐞 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐥 , 𝐝𝐞𝐞𝐩𝐞𝐫 𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐜 𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐛𝐨𝐝𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐚𝐯𝐨𝐢𝐝 𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐨𝐜𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐜 𝐞𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐜𝐭 & 𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐤 𝐨𝐟 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐥𝐨𝐨𝐤 𝐥𝐢𝐤𝐞 𝐩𝐚𝐭𝐜𝐡.

Some Brands supply new universal Dentin Composite Shade, such as

which makes it more easily but if you use basic Composite is cheaper and more Creative.
