🖐🏾 Steps:-
👉 Step1: create a silicone index or patty of palatal to replace
the thin uniform layer of the medium value of enamel composite (0.5mm) to act as a Matrix for remaining restoration. This Enamel matrix should include the palatal and both sides of proximal walls
which can obtain using ( Matrix and wedge ). For example,
1. Unica anterior matrix system .
2. Celluloid matrix
3. Mylar matrix strip.
👉 Step2: Proceeding to stratification of dentin composites layers as
∆ D2 in an oblique direction and covered D3 . and occupying about 60% of
total volume with. ..
and reach 2/3 of Cervical – incisal length.
∆ D1 in an oblique direction and
covered D2 . and occupying about 90% of total volume with D3+2.
🌟 Note to leave about 0.5 to 1 mm in the incisal and
proximal gap for opalescent mass.
Step3: opalescent mass applied
Step4: final layer will be a thin uniform layer of the medium value of enamel
composite (0.5-0.7mm).
🌟 Note: We will talk about Steps 3 & 4 in Chapter 4 ( Mid )
S5: finishing & polishing,

1. use stratification from central to surface as cones or areas, not layers
2. used mainly n Lab, not Clinic.
🌟 𝑻𝒉𝒊𝒓𝒅 𝒕𝒆𝒄𝒉𝒏𝒊𝒒𝒖𝒆 : 𝑺𝒊𝒎𝒑𝒍𝒊𝒇𝒊𝒆𝒅 𝒕𝒆𝒄𝒉 ..
◾️ It’s the same technique steps as 𝑭𝒊𝒓𝒔𝒕 𝒕𝒆𝒄𝒉𝒏𝒊𝒒𝒖𝒆 𝒊𝒔 ( 𝒗𝒂𝒏𝒊𝒏𝒊 ‘𝒔 𝒔𝒕𝒓𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒇𝒊𝒄𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝒕𝒆𝒄𝒉 ). but with
less time and effort.
And less chromatic complex teeth.
Only using two layers of dentin composites or one layer.
Dx = D1, D2
or
Dx = D1 only
But
The first tech is more complex but gives great esthetic results 🌟
Now the author gives us some Notes, which will help you to improve your esthetic treatment.

For two reasons :
1. make it easy, fast and efficient application of composite.
2. recover oxygen-inhibited layer after diamond bur used to make a correction on already polymerized composite.
This liquid is filler-free resin, so it will lead to decrease physical properties of the composite restoration.
Use it carefully and as minimum
as the possible amount.
Just let the brush be moist, not wet 👌
You can use ( 𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐜𝐮𝐛, 𝐬𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐞 𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞 ) to solve
this problem. and make it easier to apply.
